Brandenburg Festival
Saturday 21st November, 7.30pm
Venue: St Sepulchre-without-Newgate, Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2DQ
We love a good pop song, but it’s not all about the beats and the bass lines here at SOUND. We like to experiment with all kinds of styles – from Finnish a cappella to English folk song. Which is why we’re so excited about a very special concert coming up in November.
We’re joining forces with Waltham Madrigals for our most diverse concert to date. Starting with a fresh take on the words of St. Francis of Assisi, and moving through swing, Sting and West African song, our set will explore the possibilities of the human voice – showcasing work by some of the best arrangers in contemporary music.
With rich harmonies, adventurous arrangements and a passion for vocal music in all it’s forms, it’ll be SOUND just as you know and love us, but you might just be surprised to hear where our musical curiosity has taken us lately!
The concert will be held at St Sepulchre-without-Newgate, Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2DQ.
